It’s time for another road trip. I haven’t done a legit one since moving out to California over two years ago, and the road trip bug has bitten me again. Apparently it’s pretty serious too – because the trip I planned is one for the record books. Thirty states and two provinces. A month and a half. Multiple companions. Most major US cities. Fully documented on camera. Maybe this time I’ll even keep my blog up to date!
Here is the tentative itinerary we have planned out thus far. My friend Marina (who is from Germany) and I will be doing the first half (everything but my return to CA) from September 10 – October 14. Then I’ll be swinging back up to Nashville to pick up a few people for a straight-shot drive back to Los Angeles from Oct 19 – 22.
Sept 10 – LA > Vegas / Sept 11 – Vegas > Arches Nat’l Park / Sep 13 – Arches > Denver / Sep 14 – Denver > Chicago / Sep 17 – Chicago > Niagara/Toronto? / Sep 19 – Niagara > Montreal? / Sep 20 – Montreal > Portland > Boston / Sep 22 – Boston to NYC / Sep 28 – NYC > Philly / Sep 29 – Philly > DC / Oct 1 – DC > Nashville / Oct 8 – Nashville > Atlanta / Oct 10 – Atlanta > Clearwater / Oct 12 – Miami, Key West / Oct 14 – Key West > Orlando / Oct 20 – Orlando > Nashville / Oct 21-23: Nashville > LA
