Here are some of the many highlights of living in London for a month…
The German Christmas Market in Hyde Park:
Riding pretty much every line on the tube:
Saying hello to Big Ben (of course):
Walking along the river Thames.
(This is one of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken)
The Tate Modern:
Notting Hill:
Platform 9 3/4 at King’s Cross:
Abbey Road:
Tower of London:
Bricklane Street Art Walk:
Hillsong London Service:
Dinner w/ London friends at Zizzi’s Italian Restaurant near Tottenham Court:
Seeing this amazing advert on the tele all the time:
(and putting capes on our smoothies because of it)
In a weird kinda way, this two-part blog post has actually given me a new appreciation for London. I’ve lived here for all 23 years of my life, and as a result I’ve grown tired of the City, and sometimes even flat-out hated it.
But reading about London from the perspective of someone who may not spend that much time here has made me think twice about the opinions I’ve held for half my life. I’m even looking at things as simple as our not-so-great weather, the chlostrophobic train rides, and our bizarre adverts differently now.
I guess I just wanna thank you for helping me fall back in love with this daft little City I call home. 🙂

Not to sound like a broken record, but I hear there is an excellent milkshake shop near North Action Station. I’ve been looking for an excuse to go there for the last month.
It’s kinda scary that you’d bring up North Acton like that. Have we spoken before, have we discussed North Acton? I’m legit terrified right now. XD
But yeah, I know the place you mean and it’s great.
